Game of War: Fire Age – Level 14 Hyper Farm, I recently decided to develop a few additional farming accounts (some call them “Hyper Farms”). These accounts are specifically built to produce a massive amount of one resource (food, stone, wood, or ore) for a primary account. As a secondary benefit, the account also provides a significant amount of silver through Villas as well. There are many ways to build an account like this. I am not claiming that mine is the best by any means, it is simply one way to build a farm account.
Here are the things I am trying to accomplish with this account build:
– Produce a large amount of one resource (food, stone, wood, or ore) and silver.
– Protect the Hero by only building up to Stronghold Level 14, which makes it so he can’t be executed.
– Efficiently choose useful buildings, but leave the account open for later expansion (will not build an Altar, Prison, or Hall of War, but will leave at least one of each primary building available).
The major negative of not going past Level 14 is that you will not be able to take advantage of the Treasury. I am not a huge user of gold though, so the benefit of having a non-executable Hero outweighs this disadvantage for me personally. There simply is nothing that anyone can do to permanently damage this account. They can farm it for a while, hold the Hero captive, whatever they want to do. But eventually they will move on (or I’ll move the farm) and it will go back to business as usual.
If you want the benefit of using the Treasury, simply use this strategy but go to Level 15 or higher. The only negative is the possibility of your Hero being executed (you may want to keep a Gymnos if you use this method though).
This one is pretty simple: Create twenty-two buildings of the primary resource you are producing. So if you are producing wood, you will have twenty-two Lumber Mills. Then you will have one of each of the other buildings, in this case that would be one Farm, one Quarry, and one Mine. I personally will not be using a Gold Mine for any of my farming accounts, like I said I’m not a big gold user, but you can if you want to.
Building Setup – Inside Your City
This one is a little more complicated and depends a lot on personal preference. Like I said, my goals are for this account to produce a lot of one resource and silver as well. The silver is a side bonus though, not the primary goal.
The primary goal inside your city is to build as many Villas as you can. This will help you produce large amounts of silver that you can send to your primary accounts as well.
Here is a list of buildings you may (or may not) want to keep once you reach Stronghold Level 14: Academy, Barracks, Embassy, Forge, Gymnos, Hospital, Marketplace, Storehouse, and Watchtower.
Like I said in regards to my own personal goals, I don’t want to cripple any of my accounts so I will be leaving one of each of the above buildings. That should give me room for sixteen Villas but still leave me with the option of easily taking the account past Level 14 if I decide to do so.
If you know that you don’t ever plan to go past Level 14 with the account and it is strictly for resource generation, you can start destroying buildings and adding more Villas. Good candidates for destruction are the Barracks, Embassy, Gymnos (once your Hero reaches Level 50), Hospital and the Watchtower. Removal of any of these buildings allows you to add more Villas.
I will NOT build an Altar, Prison, or Hall of War. I’m not going to be going past Level 14 or fighting with this account, so there is no need for any of these buildings. Even if I chose to go to Level 15 or higher, if this was still primarily a farming account I can’t see these buildings of being any use regardless of level.
You will want to specialize your Hero in such a way that the production of your primary resource is maximized with silver production being a secondary concern. If I was producing wood, I would maximize Wood Production in the Hero Skill Tree with Silver Production being secondary.
When it comes to research, completing research that improves your economic production is of primary concern. Everything else is pretty much secondary or useless. In fact, the only reason I would possibly continue researching other areas would be if there was a chance down the road that I would turn this into more than just a hyper farming account.
If you produce large amounts of food on your primary account, you could create three additional accounts that produce stone, wood, and ore and you’d be pretty well setup. Depending on your production rate and where your city caps at, you could log into your farming accounts two or three times a day to send out the resources to your primary account. Other people simply leave these accounts outside of their alliance and attack them for the resources. That is up to you and how your alliance works.
Like I said at the beginning of the article, this may not be the “best” way to create a hyper farming account. It is merely one of many possible ways. This is just the way I do it because it doesn’t take too long to max out and become a “set it and forget it” hyper farm. You log in to collect your resources every once in a while and you’re pretty much good to go. No real maintenance on the account.
So how do you personally build hyper farming accounts? What do you do differently and why do you do it that way? How many farming accounts do you have in addition to your primary account?
